โ
Formula
Principle: To study and compare the structure of animal and plant cells, identifying their key organelles.
๐ฏ
Aim
To study and compare the structure of animal and plant cells, identifying their key organelles.
๐งฐ
Apparatus
- Microscope
- Prepared slides of animal and plant cells
- Drawing sheet and pencils
๐งช
Procedure
- Place the plant cell slide under the microscope.
- Focus at low power (10x), then switch to high power (40x).
- Identify and draw: cell wall, cell membrane, nucleus, vacuole, chloroplasts.
- Repeat with the animal cell slide.
- Compare structures: note the absence of cell wall and chloroplasts in animal cells.
