๐
Theory
Measure pulse rate before and after different exercises to understand cardiovascular response. To measure the pulse rate at rest and observe the effect of different physical exercises on the pulse rate and recovery time.
โ
Formula
Principle: To measure the pulse rate at rest and observe the effect of different physical exercises on the pulse rate and recovery time.
๐ฏ
Aim
To measure the pulse rate at rest and observe the effect of different physical exercises on the pulse rate and recovery time.
๐งฐ
Apparatus
- Stopwatch / Timer
- Human subject (interactive model)
- Virtual Pulse Monitor
๐งช
Procedure
- Ensure the subject is at rest and measure the resting pulse rate for 60 seconds.
- Select the fitness level of the subject.
- Choose an exercise (Running, Jumping Jacks, Skipping) and a duration.
- Perform the exercise and immediately measure the post-exercise pulse rate.
- Observe the pulse graph and record data in the observation table.
- Monitor the recovery time until pulse returns to the resting rate.
